Son objectif principal est d'améliorer la sécurité de l'utilisateur en lui fournissant une vision en temps réel de son environnement arrière et latéral, notamment le trafic et les mouvements d'approche. Ceci est réalisé par des capteurs de détection de mouvement et une ou plusieurs caméras avec un mode jour ou nuit spécifiquement positionnées pour visualiser un champ de 170° couvrant l'arrière, le côté gauche arrière et/ou le côté droit arrière de la trottinette. Les données vidéo sont transmises à un moniteur d'affichage dynamique monté sur le guidon, permettant à l'utilisateur de visualiser activement ces informations critiques.
